"The way you tell the story about your world will actually co-create that world. The myth of redemptive violence needs to be replaced. Imagining a new myth is a privilege. It is also our responsibility."

Welcome. I believe we’re here to learn, share, and become a better story, discerning our gifts and needs, toward a life worthy of the name. Join me?

AN INVITATION

Leadership as pathfinding, not domination.

Decisive action for good through creative courage, not violence.

Canyon-wide hearts neither repressed nor consumed.

Enchanting fear, anger, and brokenness into kaleidoscopic wholeness.

Holding the center, tending the world, from the common to the cosmic.

One picture of what life can be. I am a fellow traveler, but I’ve bumped into some wisdom along the way.

If you’d like to learn more, I’m ready to share with you.

Violence & Peace

Spirituality - our lived relationship with mystery - is not for experts. It's about learning to love life, face fear, to figure out what should be embraced, what should be laughed at, and what really matters.

I was raised on movies and soda bread. The stories we tell shape our lives, and our stories can be prisons or shelters. Becoming conscious of this can make our lives - and our world - better, so we talk about it here.

Violence declines when human beings refuse to tolerate the cruelty that is considered normal in their generation. The stories we tell about violence can fuel it, or empty it of power.
